LawFuel - Rapper 50 Cent threatened to sue a rival's lawyer for implying he was behind the alleged beating a 14-year-old boy outside of the rapper's New York office, UPI reported.

The G-Unit rapper is angry over accusations that he told rapper Tony Yayo to rough up the teen because the boy was wearing a sweatshirt promoting a rival company, the New York Post said Tuesday.

Turns out the boy was the son of Czar Entertainment head Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond.

Rosemond's lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, said 50 Cent was behind the confrontation.

According to 50 Cent's attorney, his client was no where near the scene.

"We can prove beyond question that 50 was not even in New York state at the time of the incident," Benjamin Brafman said. "And unless there is a complete retraction and apology from Mr. Lichtman, it is our intention to sue him for defamation."

Responded Lichtman: "I retract nothing."
