LAWFUEL - Legal Announcement Service - Summary: SULLIVAN & CROMWELL LLP topped the list of the "Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces" in the consulting, accounting, legal and business services industry, according to The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. In addition to ranking #1 in its industry, S&C ranked #30 on the top 100 list overall.
The Firm provides its employees up to US$ 7,500 and 18 weeks of paid leave per adoption. "We recognize that adoption is a time-honored and wonderful way to create or expand a family," explained S&C Partner Ann Fisher, co-chair of the Women's Initiative Committee and adoptive parent. "Parents who are adopting merit benefits that are equivalent to those given to parents having biological children."
