According to reports by bicycle injury lawyers, San Diego County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mike Munsey stated that a person riding a bicycle was struck and killed.
The bicyclists was struck and killed by a train when trying to beat a commuter train while crossing the tracks. The accident occurred in the area of Wisconsin Avenue and South Coast Highway according to Lt. Munsey. The Coaster train that struck the bicyclist whose identity has not been released other than the person who was hit and killed was a male.
