TV Host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Offers Reward In Santa Monica Hit and Run Bicycle Accident |

According to reports Ty Pennington host of one of the popular weekly television program Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, is offering a reward. The reward is for information leading to the arrest of a hit and run driver that seriously injured a bicyclists.
Pennington is offering a $10,000 reward for information about a hit and run accident that occurred in Santa Monica when a relative of his co-manager was struck on January 17th by a hit and run driver.
The man that was struck by the vehicle is Daniel Seeck age 33, he was struck by a vehicle while riding his mountain bike in the vicinity of 20th street traveling southbound according to Santa Monica Police Department traffic investigator Chris Dawson.
According to Penningtons co-manager Bill Stankey, Seeck was critically injured, his injuries include head trauma, nine broken ribs, a punctured lung, and he is currently at UCLA Medical Center on life support. Seeck is Bill Stankey’s wife’s cousin and according to reports he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the hit and run accident.
The traffic investigator Chris Dawson stated that Seeck was knocked to the ground by the vehicle, suffering a wrongful death. He and his mountain bicycle were run over by the vehicle, which then left the scene without stopping. Dawson also stated the accident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. and according to witnesses the accident the vehicle was a dark colored sport utility vehicle.
Santa Monica bicycle injury lawyers will be chomping at the bit to sue the hit and run motor vehicle operator if he or she is ever located.
