It is designed to be a direct replacement for magnetic stripe readers to convert the existing application and hardware to RFID technology. With the characteristics of low energy consumption and a built-in antenna, it is commonly used in installations retaining hardware infrastructure and changing to more secure RFID technology. This RFID reader module, model711001, operates at a frequency of 125kHz and provides a read/write distance of up to 80mm with ISO cards. It is encapsulated with an ABS case allowing robust operation. This RFID reader module communicates with a computer via MSR, ABA, and Track 2 interfaces.
