13.56MHz Desktop RFID Reader/Writer Features Reliable Identification

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has released this 13.56MHz desktop RFID reader/writer specially designed for use in either desktop or embedded applications where it is required to read and write information to a limited number of stacked RFID tags. It can also be used for many other applications such as access control or authorization and is especially useful for document tracking. This RFID reader/writer is compliant with ISO/IEC 18000-3 standard.
This desktop RFID reader/writer, model 233011, operates as a peripheral to a host computer connecting conveniently to provide for powerful and fast operation on two reply channels at a maximum read speed of 150tags/s. It performs reliable identification and can read and write up to twenty tagged items with zero separation between tags. This RFID reader/writer offers a powerful processing platform allowing for stand-alone reader operation through either Ethernet or USB interfaces. Also, it has a reading range from 0 to 110mm depending on the tag being read and supports a command data rate of 424kbits/s and a reply data rate of 106kbits/s.
