NEW YORK–LAWFUEL – Law News, Law Jobs Network –The American Lawyer® magazine today announced the appointment of Richard Lloyd as chief European correspondent for the magazine, effective January 1 2007. Lloyd, who will be based in London, currently serves as deputy editor of Legal Business magazine, a U.K. publication. Lloyd will serve as the magazine’s lead reporter on law firm and legal business developments throughout the U.K. and continental Europe, reporting to Aric Press, editor in chief of the magazine. He will also provide content for ALM’s other print and online legal media.

Lloyd has been affiliated with Legalease Publishing, the owner of Legal Business, since 2000, having served as a reporter, senior reporter, corporate editor and features editor for the magazine, prior to being named deputy editor in March 2006. Previously, he had served as a researcher and corporate editor for the company’s annual Legal 500 series. He is a graduate of Nottingham University and resides in London.
