New York – March 19, 2007 – LAWFUEL – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. (“CD&R”) in the definitive merger agreement to acquire The ServiceMaster Company (“ServiceMaster”) for a total enterprise value of approximately $5.5 billion, including the assumption of existing ServiceMaster debt. Under the terms of the agreement, ServiceMaster’s stockholders will receive $15.625 in cash for each outstanding ServiceMaster share.
