Florida Judge Lawrence Korda, 49, a judge in the Anna Nicole Smith case, has apologized for smoking pot after being ordered to take routine drug tests for six months after being charged with a misdemeanor marijuana possession, the Post Chronicle reports.

Judge Korda apologized in court on Monday for smokin’ Mary-Jane in a city park:

“I would like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize and accept responsibility for my actions and poor judgment in Stanley Goldman Park on the afternoon of March 18, 2007.”

Korda’s marijuana misdemeanor charge will be dismissed if the judge stays clean and off any drugs for six months – and he has to perform 25 hours of community service.
