CHICAGO, June 4, 2007 – Christy Phanthavong has been promoted to counsel at Bryan Cave LLP. Resident in the firm’s Chicago office, Phanthavong has worked with Bryan Cave since 2004 and is a member of the Labor & Employment and Commercial Litigation Groups.

Phanthavong’s practice concentrates on labor and employment litigation before administrative agencies, as well as in both state and federal courts. She has defended management in matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the National Labor Relations Act, among others. Phanthavong also has experience conducting anti-harassment training and assists corporations as they draft employee handbooks.
Phanthavong received her J.D. in 1999, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois and her B.A. in 1995, summa cum laude, from Wheaton College.
