LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – Action Movie Star Steven Seagal is suing his former law firm for what he regards as excessive legal fees, over $1 million, when he used the firm for an extortion trial in 2002.
In a lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Seagal
claims he happily paid several of the law firm’s bills until July of 2003, when he “had grown skeptical of defendant’s experience, its representation and its billing practices” and he obtained a legal audit for the charges.
Seagal is seeking at least $450,000 in general damages
