2007 Animal Law Essay Competition
The NSW Young Lawyers Animal Rights Committee is currently inviting entries in its Animal Law Essay Competition. First prize is $500 (kindly donated by Voiceless, the fund for animals – www.voiceless.org.au) and the winning essay will also be published in the Alternative Law Journal. Suggested essay topics include the possible introduction of legislation equivalent to the US Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, the legality of the live export trade and the adequacy of laws regulating the labelling of animal products. Full Marathon: January 13, 2008
Half Marathon: January 12, 2008
Start Times: 6:00 a.m.
Entry Requirements:
To participate, you must be 14 years or older on Race Day to register.
All participants must be able to maintain a 16 minute mile pace throughout the race.
All participants must complete the full marathon race course in less than 7 hours and the half marathon race course in under 3 and half hours.
