Ippei Mizuhara To Surrender to Federal Authorities

The US Attorney has advised that Ippei Mizuhara, the former interpreter for baseballer Shohei Ohtani, is to self-surrender to federal authorities in Los Angeles tomorrow.

Mizuhara will make his initial court appearance on the 2:00 p.m. PDT calendar. The hearing will be in Courtroom 640 of the Roybal Federal Building at 255 East Temple Street in downtown Los Angeles, the US Attorney advises.

He faces a federal charge of bank fraud after allegedly stealing more than $16 million from Ohtani.
