LOS ANGELES–LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – Greenberg Glusker today announced it will participate in National Adoption Day on Saturday, November 17, 2007.
“National Adoption Day provides our attorneys with a very personal opportunity to significantly impact the lives of children,” said Greenberg Glusker’s Managing Partner Norman H. Levine. “We feel privileged to be part of this most admirable cause, and we honor those families who adopt.”
National Adoption Day, initiated in 2000 by the Alliance for Children’s Rights through the generous support of the Freddie Mac Foundation, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and others, works with law firms, state foster care agencies, child advocates, and courts to complete thousands of foster care adoptions nationwide.
“This is one day that is about bringing families together,” said Greenberg Glusker environmental attorney Sedina L. Banks, who coordinates efforts on behalf of the Firm. “Knowing that my service helps to provide children with permanent homes and families is truly rewarding.”
Greenberg Glusker has participated in National Adoption Day since 2005. The Firm regularly provides pro bono services to facilitate adoptions and to obtain benefits for foster parents and others involved with children in need.
