NEW YORK– LAWFUEL – US Law Firm Announcement Service–Mildred Quinones-Holmes has joined the New York office of the law firm Thompson Hine LLP as of counsel in the Commercial & Public Finance practice group. She focuses her practice on corporate trust matters.
Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Ms. Quinones-Holmes served as managing counsel for the global agency and trust business of The Bank of New York. She managed a team of 10 attorneys located throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America, and was responsible for resolving legal matters on a global scale. Her responsibilities included matters that required navigating the financial regulatory markets of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom. She has extensive U.S. experience with defaulted debt, structured finance (ABS and MBS), CDOs, corporate finance, international finance, project finance and general fiduciary matters.
Preceding her work with The Bank of New York, Ms. Quinones-Holmes served as senior legal counsel to Citibank’s agency and trust business, primarily located in North America and Europe, for nearly a decade. During her tenure at Citibank, she rendered legal advice to internal and external clients for the structured finance, project finance, conventional debt and escrow product lines.
Ms. Quinones-Holmes earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1987 and her B.S. from Yale University in 1981. She is a volunteer instructor, board member and mentor for Alliance Junior. Ms. Quinones-Holmes is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
