LawFuel – Pop star Britney Spears’ downward spiral has been blamed on her manager, Sam Lutfi, who controlled the Spears through drugs and by keeping her a virtual hostage, says Spears’ mother in a court declaration.
A restraining order has been made against Lutfi, which prevents him from being near Spears, her homes, parents or siblings. Lynne Spears made the declaration, which claimed her daughter met Lutfi in October following which he virtually took over all aspects of Britney’s life, including her finances.
Lynne Spears said Lutfi “drugged Britney, he has cut Britney’s home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything – Britney’s business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate.”
Lutfi is listed in the legal documents as Osama Lutfi. The documentation disclose what happened on January 28, shortly before Spears was removed to a psychiatric hospital. The documents say Spears had been in an argument with ex-husband Kevin Federline of custody of their two children, a long-standing legal battle.

went to Britney’s home because they’d heard on the news she had a fight with Lutfi and was crying.
Once inside, Lynne Spears said she was told by Lutfi that her daughter didn’t want anyone but her in the house and she was afraid to see her father. Lynne Spears also said there were several paparazzi inside the house.
