LawFuel – Britney Spears, removed from her home to a psychiatric ward after repeated bizarre behavior, was released on Wednesday. She was admitted to the hospital in the early morning hours of Jan. 31
Sources revealed to E! News that what prompted the Spears family to file a police report about a burglary at the singer’s home was the discovery of several things, among them “Britney’s awards, including a Grammy, and some jewelry.”
Police are investigating but have not yet named any suspects.
People magazine, citing an unidentified source, reported that her release was attributable to a court representative who overrode the wishes of her parents and the doctor overseeing her care at U.C.L.A. Medical Center.
