LawFuel – Attacks on Indians in Mumbai has lead to cals for the arrest of Raj Thackeray, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader.
Congress leader Mahabal Mishra demanded Thackeray’s immediate arrest and called on the government to prevent any violence that targeted Northern Indians.
Condemning the attack on North Indians, particularly people belonging to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, the Congress leader said it was shocking that Raj Thackeray was roaming freely despite indulging in such blatant violation of the law.
The Maharashtra Government should immediately take him into custody and slap charges on him for “intimidation, disturbing communal harmony, peace and law and order in the State”, Mr. Mishra said.
