Mr. Dayan will also serve as a member of the organization’s Executive Committee. The IFA is a leading non-governmental, international organization, which consists of 10,000 international tax professionals worldwide from law firms, accounting firms and corporations. The USA Branch is the largest IFA branch, with approximately 1,200 members divided into 15 regions.
Mr. Dayan is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Department where he specializes in tax planning for businesses, primarily in the international area. He also handles significant tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Dayan earned his J.D. from Emory University and his L.L.M. degree in taxation from New York University. He has served as clerk to Judge William M. Fay of the United States Tax Court in Washington D.C. Mr. Dayan has served as an adjunct professor of law in taxation at Emory University and speaks regularly at professional conferences. He was listed in the The Best Lawyers in America® for 2007 and 2008. Mr. Dayan also served as the 2006-2007 President of the Atlanta Tax Forum.

Formed in 1938, the IFA is the parent organization of the USA Branch. The objectives of IFA are the study and advancement of international and comparative law in regard to public finance and specifically international and comparative fiscal law and the financial and economic aspects of taxation.
The USA Branch hosts a two-day conference in late February/early March of each year consisting of presentations by eminent international tax experts on topics, planning ideas and issues of current importance.
