Arnstein & Lehr LLP Expands Construction Practice with Addition of Two Attorneys
CHICAGO–LAWFUEL – Legal Newswire –The Chicago law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP announced today that Attorneys Justin L. Weisberg and W. Matthew Bryant became members of the firm’s Construction Practice Group.

Weisberg will continue to concentrate his practice on construction and design law at Arnstein & Lehr. He represents engineers, architects, design builders, developers, owners, contractors, subcontractors and insureds regarding numerous issues related to construction design and insurance coverage law. His experience has included contract negotiation, counseling, litigation and dispute resolution relating to numerous projects including office, commercial and residential buildings; nuclear and coal fired power plants; manufacturing facilities, laboratories, water distribution systems, waste water treatment facilities, schools, libraries, stadiums, exposition centers, governmental facilities, roads, bridges, transit stations, refineries and single family residences.

His prior work as a registered professional engineer in both Illinois and Florida allows him to utilize in his law practice his previous engineering experience. During his engineering career Weisberg was involved in the design and evaluation of various structures including transit structures, fixed and movable bridges and offshore naval facilities. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Bryant focuses his practice on construction and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He has represented owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors in lawsuits relating to construction defects, mechanics liens, bond claims, delay claims, change order disputes and fraud. He has represented condominium developers and unit owners in litigation matters including defense and prosecution of claims relating to the Illinois Condominium Property Act, failure to adequately manage condominium finances, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. He has defended design professionals against claims of professional negligence. He also represents businesses in commercial disputes.

He has lectured on the legal aspects of construction management and co-authored chapters on the licensing of construction professionals and on public construction projects. Bryant is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
