Law Firm Announcement – Schulte Roth & Zabel Partner Takes On Additional Role

Shapiro, while continuing to serve as a partner in the firm’s London office, has also joined firm client Lincoln Vale, a multi-product asset management firm based in London and Boston, as a partner involved in all aspects of Lincoln Vale’s business.

He lectures and writes extensively on the legal, tax and business aspects of investment funds, and recently testified on behalf of the Managed Funds Association about offshore tax issues affecting hedge funds at hearings held by the U.S. House Ways & Means and Senate Finance Committees.

In related news, the firm has announced that special counsel Josh Dambacher has transferred to the London office from New York. Mr. Dambacher’s practice focuses on hedge funds, private equity funds, investment advisers, investment partnerships, regulatory compliance, acquisitions, seed capital and joint venture arrangements. He holds a J.D. from University of Michigan Law School; an M.B.A. from Purdue University, where he was Phi Beta Kappa; and a B.B.A., with distinction, from the University of Missouri.
