ATLANTA (November 12) LAWFUEL – Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Partner Earle Taylor was formally admitted as a Fellow to the American College of Bond Counsel. Mr. Taylor was honored with this recognition for his accomplishments and legal expertise in the field of bond law.
The American College of Bond Counsel was formed in 1995 for the purpose of recognizing lawyers who have established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law. The College believes that a bond lawyer’s expertise can best be judged by his or her peers and has sought to admit to membership in the College only bond lawyers that have long experience and outstanding reputations in the field of bond law. Membership in the College is extremely limited and admission as a Fellow (i.e. member of the College) is a recognition of the lawyer’s accomplishments and legal expertise in the field of bond law.
Mr. Taylor is a partner in Kilpatrick Stockton’s Atlanta office. He focuses his practice on public finance and has practiced in that area since 1984. Mr. Taylor has served as a panelist or speaker for numerous seminars and conferences sponsored by the National Association of Bond Lawyers, The Bond Buyer, the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association, the Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Georgia Economic Developers Association, the University System of Georgia Lawyers Group, the Society for College and University Planning, the International Municipal Lawyers Association, the Health Care Financial Managers Association, and the Georgia Association of School Business Officials. He has served on the State of Georgia Bond Allocation Technical Advisory Committee and has served as an expert witness for the Securities and Exchange Commission in a landmark civil enforcement proceeding involving municipal securities. He frequently drafts and consults with respect to public finance-related legislation proposed by the Georgia General Assembly. Mr. Taylor has been recognized as a “Georgia Super Lawyer” by Law and Politics and as one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite.”
