The firm and its employees, led by partner David Zacks, a former national volunteer chair of the Society, have donated $750,000 to date to support ACS programs and services and the Society’s sister advocacy organization, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN).
Kilpatrick Stockton funds the Society’s Patient Resource Navigation Program at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where the majority of the facility’s patients are economically challenged and are underinsured or uninsured. The firm also supports the Call Center in the Society’s South Atlantic Division headquarters in Atlanta, and the center is named for David Zacks. Additionally, the firm was the major sponsor of the ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Washington, D.C. in 2008. And Kilpatrick Stockton provides pro bono legal counsel and work for both ACS and ACS CAN.
