Biggers brings over nine years of corporate law experience with a focus on aviation and airline industry transactions. He worked previously as an attorney at Haynes & Boone, LLP.
Biggers advises clients world-wide in the areas of corporate securities/capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, general corporate matters and outsourcing. In addition to corporate and general transportation experience, Biggers has extensive legal experience handling aviation and airline industry transactions. He has worked closely throughout his career both with business units and in-house counsel of Fortune 500 companies, and acted as general counsel for both public and private companies. This experience gives him a unique perspective as an outside adviser to companies of all sizes.
Biggers is a published author and frequent presenter. He has written several articles and papers on various legal topics, including his most recent article, “The Perfect Storm Swirling Around Executive Compensation and the Related Corporate Governance Changes.” In the aviation industry, Biggers assisted in a transaction for $1.8 billion for a major airline, part of an overall $4.2 billion financing effort that received the Airfinance Journal’s 2009 Editors Award. He was also involved with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, partnering with the legal department of the same major airline to bring pro bono legal services to the poor.
A member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association, Biggers also serves on the Advisory Board of the State Bar of Texas Aviation Section. He received his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2001, and has been selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders.
