WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 6) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today the addition of two new associates – Virginia Duke and Gregory Jacobs — to its growing Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Duke and Mr. Jacobs are joining Kilpatrick Stockton’s Insurance Recovery Team.
The additions of Ms. Duke and Mr. Jacobs come after Kilpatrick Stockton recently announced that five attorneys joined the firm’s Intellectual Asset Acquisition & Transactions Team in the Washington, D.C. office.
Virginia Duke brings experience in offensive and defensive discovery, complex case management, motions practice, trial preparation and appellate advocacy. Ms. Duke focuses her practice on insurance recovery through negotiation, litigation and arbitration for clients in the energy, manufacturing, construction, and financial services industries under a variety of insurance policies.
She earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. from Auburn University, summa cum laude.
Gregory Jacobs focuses his practice primarily on representing corporate policyholders in insurance coverage matters. He has represented policyholders in civil actions and arbitrations covering a wide range of insurance issues, including commercial property damage, homeowner’s property damage, business interruption losses, political risk losses, bodily injury liabilities, environmental liabilities, finite risk insurance and insurance company bad faith.
Mr. Jacobs earned his J.D. from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.S. from Villanova University.
