Palo Alto, November 11, 2010 – Lowenstein Sandler welcomes Matt Kirmayer to the firm as a Member based in its Silicon Valley office in Palo Alto. He joins Lowenstein Sandler’s Tech Group, a national leader in the representation of venture backed companies and their investors. He had been a partner at Mintz Levin in Palo Alto.
Matt represents emerging tech companies and venture capital and private equity funds in the digital media, wireless, clean tech and life sciences sectors. “Matt has 25 years of experience as a deal lawyer and has done hundreds of venture deals and M&A transactions. We’ve been opposite Matt in the past and are delighted to have him as the third deal lawyer we’ve added to our Palo Alto office in the past four months,” said Ed Zimmerman, Chair of Lowenstein Sandler’s Tech Group. “Matt’s involvement at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and his work with Astia are entirely consistent with Lowenstein’s approach to supporting the tech ecosystem in our core markets.”
