LawFuel.net – It didn’t take long for the Kardashian divorce to hit the legal files, with Kim Kadashian filing for divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries, just 10 weeks after the TV spectacular wedding.
Irreconcilable differences were the legal reason for the filing, with Kardashian saying: “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.”
However, it seems that her husband is not of the same mind and has been reported as saying he will do anything to keep their brand new marriage on track.
Kardashian, 31, and Humphries, 26, were married in a black-tie, celebrity wedding on August 20 in California.
The couple’s wedding registry at a Beverly Hills jeweler included such items like a $1,650 coffee pot and two $1,250 sterling silver vegetable spoons.
Kardashian’s sisters and TV co-stars Kourtney Kardashian, 32, and Khloe Kardashian, 27, served as maids of honour at the wedding, but the all-Kardashian affair was not enough to stop its slide into failure, it appears.
