________________________________________________________________________ FL – LAWFUEL – Legal News Daily – Frank V. Hall, Director of Administration for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, MDFL, and more than 230 Justice Department employees – along with 42 other individuals, many of whom are federal employees and law enforcement officers – were honored today at the Department’s 54th Annual Awards Ceremony at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Mr. Hall was honored today for his excellence in management. “Today’s award recipients make me proud to be their colleague. They make me proud to be an American,” said Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales.

“Their dedication and achievements remind me why it is an honor to serve at the Department of Justice.” Mr. Hall is responsible for the administrative management of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida and its four staffed offices. With more than 36 years of Federal Service, Mr. Hall has spent the last 26 years in the Department of Justice. Nationwide he is known for his dedication and high standards of leadership. He is often called upon to solve administrative problems in other U.S. Attorney’s Offices and he has traveled coast to coast as an expert evaluator, applying clarity, balance, and ability to resolve complex management issues.

Not only is Mr. Hall a leader, he is a compassionate and caring individual. During the last two years, Florida and other Gulf Coast states have been ravaged by six hurricanes. On his own initiative, Mr. Hall organized assistance to offices and employees in the Middle District of Florida that were damaged. His efforts ensured that essential law enforcement operations could continue and he helped the employees and their families with humanitarian assistance as well.

Mr. Hall and the team he organized also traveled to U.S. Attorney Offices in Miami, Pensacola and New Orleans bringing generators, ice, water, food and supplies. Mr. Perez stated, “Frank is known as a “can do” guy and is well respected throughout the Department of Justice family. Frank is not tied to a desk. He will go any where he is asked to ensure that DOJ employees have the tools to get their job done. Frank is very deserving of this prestigious award.”

Deputy Attorney General Paul J. McNulty presented the Department’s highest award, the Attorney General’s Award for Exceptional Service, to the outstanding
members of the investigative and trial team of the Enron Task Force, who were recognized for their exceptional service to the American public and the Department in the investigation and successful prosecution of the individuals who were most responsible for the Enron fraud.

This hard-fought battle was won through the dedication of the team members, who devoted years of their professional lives to this effort and, in doing so, made significant personal sacrifices by living away from home for long periods of time and working under stressful conditions. The team’s unparalleled dedication and teamwork over a period of years has made a significant contribution to restoring confidence in the nation’s securities markets.

The Attorney General’s Annual Awards Ceremony provides an opportunity to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of a number of U.S. Department of Justice employees as well as individuals from outside the Department.
