ATLANTA (July 19) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today the addition of prominent attorney Mike Delaney to the firm’s Corporate Department. Mr. Delaney joins the firm as a Partner in the Atlanta office.

Joining the firm from Powell Goldstein LLP, Mr. Delaney brings significant expertise in both mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance, including structuring and financing acquisitions and divestitures for public and privately-owned companies. He also has extensive experience with venture capital financings and public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities. Mr. Delaney has represented a wide variety of clients, including start-up technology firms, private and public long-term healthcare companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs) and Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Delaney earned his undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his law degree with honors from The Ohio State University, College of Law. He also earned an MBA from Georgia State University while maintaining a full-time legal practice. Mr. Delaney has been distinguished as a 2006 Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine.
