ATLANTA (March 8) – LAWFUEL – Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Partner Lorraine M. Brennan will be a featured speaker at both the 3rd Annual ITA Americas Workshop, which will be held March 14 – 16, at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel and the Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) 2007 International Arbitration Conference, which will be held March 26 – 27, at the PLI New York Center.
The ITA Workshop will concentrate on current issues in investment treaty arbitration and will include renowned speakers from throughout the world.
The PLI seminar will focus on the resolution of international business disputes through the international arbitration and mediation process. The seminar will specifically focus on topics such as advocacy in international arbitration, international arbitration involving China and Investment Treaty Arbitration.
Ms. Brennan is a partner in the firm’s New York office where she is a member of the International Dispute Resolution Team. Prior to joining Kilpatrick Stockton, Ms. Brennan served as Director of Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, North America, ICC International Court of Arbitration. During her tenure, she acted as the American advisor to the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, France. Ms. Brennan serves as an adjunct law professor at both Cornell Law School and Georgetown University Law Centre. She has also served as a Visiting Professor at Shantou University in Shantou, China.
