ATLANTA (May 14) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Intellectual Property Department Partner Joe Beck was selected to serve on the Advisory Panel of a new journal devoted to Intellectual Property Law. Based upon Mr. Beck’s reputation as an authority in the field of Intellectual Property Rights, he was selected as a crucial presence in establishing the journal as a reputed publication in the field of IP Law.
The Indian Journal of Intellectual Property Law, which is published by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, will seek to publish not only articles, updates and case comments from all over the country but will also include high quality international contributions from various IPR specialists involved in law firms, NGOs, research organizations and Universities.
Joe Beck is a graduate of Emory College and Harvard Law School, and he is a former trustee of the Copyright Society of the USA, the founder and former chair of the Society’s Southeast Chapter and is (and for a number of years has been) listed in Best Lawyers in America for Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is an Adjunct Professor of both Intellectual Property Law and Communications Law at Emory University and has lectured on these subjects and entertainment law at Harvard, Stanford, Duke, Texas and other law schools throughout the United States, as well as abroad.
