ATLANTA (May 2) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Partner Lorraine M. Brennan is a featured speaker at the American Bar Association’s International 2007 Spring Meeting, which is being held May 1-5, at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C. The annual meeting brings together expert international practitioners (both in-house and outside counsel), academicians, and government officials from around the world.
Ms. Brennan is speaking in a program focusing on recent developments in International Litigation and Arbitration. She is also moderating a panel discussion by women leaders who have established successful careers in government, Congress, the United Nations, the Federal Courts and academia. The panel is discussing alternatives to the traditional firm career path based on their own experiences both in and outside the traditional firm realm.
Ms. Brennan is a partner in the firm’s New York office where she is a member of the International Dispute Resolution Team. Prior to joining Kilpatrick Stockton, Ms. Brennan served as Director of Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, North America, ICC International Court of Arbitration. During her tenure, she acted as the American advisor to the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, France. Ms. Brennan serves as an adjunct law professor at both Cornell Law School and Georgetown University Law Centre. She has also served as a Visiting Professor at Shantou University in Shantou, China.
