Attorney Brings Trial Experience to General Commercial Litigation Practice
SAN DIEGO – LAWFUEL – Law News, Law Jobs Network – Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that Jeffrey R. Blease has joined its San Diego office as a partner and member of the Litigation Department and the General Commercial Litigation and Construction Practices.

Blease joins Foley from his former firm of Blease & Zuccaro, LLP, where he was a founder and managing partner. He has extensive jury trial experience in multiple jurisdictions and enjoys distilling complex matters into concepts and themes a jury can understand. Blease has tried cases spanning a number of issues from business disputes to construction cases with tens of thousands of documents.
Over the last 18 years, Blease has focused his practice on general business litigation and construction issues including contracts and litigation representing owners, developers, contractors and subcontractors. He concentrates on “shovel to gavel” representation, meaning he oversees all legal aspects of a construction project, including permitting, zoning, licensing, environmental issues and contract disputes with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and others. Blease has handled construction matters across the nation as well as eminent domain cases for landowners.
Prior to joining Foley, he served on the Sartell, MN, City Council for 10 years, chaired the Public Works Commission, served on the Economic Development Commission, and on the Area Planning Organization, the intergovernmental planning group, in St. Cloud, MN.
