California law firm hires new associate to support its eminent domain litigation practice
IRVINE, Calif. (January 29, 2009) (LAWFUEL) – Attorney Regan Forester recently joined Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, one of California’s leading full-service law firms, as an associate in the firm’s Orange County office.
As part of Luce Forward’s Real Estate and Environmental Litigation practice group, Forester will focus specifically on representing both public agencies and individual landowners in eminent domain litigation. She will work with a number of other attorneys in the firm’s Orange County office who specialize in eminent domain, inverse condemnation and real property litigation. The group is led by Partner John C. Murphy, a highly regarded leader in the field.
Previously, Forester focused primarily on handling legal matters related to arbitration, international contract law, wage-and-hour class action lawsuits, mergers and acquisitions, negotiation, employment law compliance, and class action defense strategy.

Prior to Luce Forward, Forester was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in Los Angeles. She also co-authored an article in December 2008 for the Los Angeles County Bar Association titled, Gimme 5: What Every Lawyer Should Know about the Difference between Employees and Independent Contractors.
Forester earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree.
