Blake Dawson Waldron’s Tax Group is consolidating its growth strategy with the partner appointment of leading Melbourne indirect tax lawyer, Geoff Mann. Previously head of tax with Freehills in Melbourne, Geoff’s practice will focus on indirect tax, predominantly GST, but will also include other indirect taxes such as stamp duty, land tax and employee benefits tax.
He has leading expertise in the property and finance industries and is highly regarded for his work on large infrastructure projects. Major transactions have included advising Connex on the financing of its rolling stock; the acquisition of several major Melbourne CBD properties, as well as project construction financing for Melbourne’s Eureka Tower and extensive QV shopping precinct.
