Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione Continues to Lead with 37 Illinois “Leading Lawyers” in 2009

CHICAGO – LawFuel.com – Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the U.S., is pleased to announce that 37 attorneys have been selected as “Leading Lawyers” in intellectual property in Illinois for 2009 by the Leading Lawyers NetworkSM. Newly added to the Leading Lawyers NetworkSM list this year are Brinks attorneys Philip A. Jones and Scott J. Slavick.

Earlier this year, Brinks president Gary M. Ropski was named among the Top Ten Business Litigators in Illinois and among the Top Ten Business Lawyers in Illinois for 2009, based on surveys conducted by Leading Lawyers NetworkSM and published in the January 2009 Business Edition of Leading Lawyers Network Magazine.

Meredith Martin Addy, chair of the firm’s Appellate Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, was named one of the Top 50 Women Business Lawyers in Illinois and name partners, Jerome Gilson and Roy E. Hofer, along with Mr. Ropski, were listed among the Top 100 Business Lawyers in Illinois.

Leading Lawyers lists are compiled by the Leading Lawyers NetworkSM, a division of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company. The lists are the results of thousands of contacts with Illinois lawyers who are surveyed about whom of their peers they believe comprise the top lawyers in the state. Attorneys cannot nominate attorneys in their own firms.
