Cadwalader Restructuring Team Honored with Two Turnaround Atlas Awards

John J. Rapisardi, the Co-Chairman of Cadwalader’s Financial Restructuring Department, was the recipient of the Restructuring Legal Advisor of the Year award, and the firm’s representation of JPMorgan
Chase Bank in the Centro Properties Group restructuring was tapped for Out-of Court Restructuring ofm the Year.

The firm was also shortlisted for the Turnaround Atlas Award and Restructuring Law Firm of the Year, and Deryck A. Palmer, the Co-Chairman of Cadwalader’s Financial Restructuring Department, was a finalist for Restructuring Legal Advisor of the Year.
The Turnaround Atlas Awards honor achievements in completed deals, firms, and professionals in the restructuring arena.

industries, including telecommunications, satellite, retail, healthcare, casinos, sports franchises, real estate, and manufacturing companies. He currently serves as outside counsel to the U.S. Department of
Treasury and the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry. Mr. Rapisardi was named as a highly recommended international restructuring counsel in PLC Cross-border Restructuring and Insolvency
Handbook, recognized as one of the leading restructuring lawyers in the U.S. by Chambers USA, and included in Best Lawyers in America. A Beta Gamma Sigma graduate from the College of Business
Administration at Fordham University, he received his LL.M. from New York University and J.D. from Pace University, where he served on the Pace Law Review.
