DALLAS (LAWFUEL) – For the sixth consecutive year, noted Dallas attorney Charla Aldous has earned a spot on the prestigious Texas Super Lawyers listing of the state’s top attorneys.
Ms. Aldous, founder of the Aldous Law Firm, is listed among the state’s top litigators in the October 2008 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
She was singled out for special recognition again this year as one of the Top 50 Women attorneys in Texas and among the Top 100 attorneys in the state. She has earned the Top 50 Women and Top 100 rankings each year since the Texas Super Lawyers listings began in 2003. Ms. Aldous also was profiled in a Texas Super Lawyers cover story in 2004 based on her work for plaintiffs litigation.
To compile the listing, more than 70,000 attorneys across Texas were asked to nominate the state’s best attorneys. The final Texas Super Lawyers selections were determined after rigorous screening from a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys, with fewer than 5 percent of all Texas lawyers receiving the honor.
Recognition is nothing new for Ms. Aldous, who recently received the 2008 “Trial Lawyer of the Year” award from the Texas chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Texas Lawyer newspaper has named her one of the top five personal injury attorneys in Texas, and she has been recognized by The National Law Journal as one of the “Ten Winning Lawyers in America.”
