Chicago, IL, June 4, 2007 – LAWFUEL – The Law Firm Newswire – Baker & McKenzie is pleased to announce that Jan Anne Dubin will become the new Business Development Director for the North American region of the Firm. Reporting to the North American Managing Partner and Regional COO, Ms. Dubin will play a key role in supporting and driving the growth of the region, and will have responsibility for leading and achieving the region’s business development strategies.
With more than twenty-four years of experience, Ms. Dubin has been responsible for managing global projects in the areas of new business activity, including client relations, internal and external communications, media relations, marketing planning, market research, strategic philanthropy and leadership development.

Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie, Ms. Dubin was Global Client Program Executive for DLA Piper US LLP where she served in various senior leadership roles since joining the firm known as Rudnick & Wolfe in 1989.
Ms. Dubin has a MBA degree from the Executive Program, The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She was recently appointed by Karen Mathis, the 2006 president of the American Bar Association, to serve on the ABA Corporate Roundtable to the Commission on Youth at Risk. In addition, she received the Anti-Defamation League’s Distinguished Community Leadership Award, and was selected by Today’s Chicago Women as a select group of women making a difference in Chicago’s communities.
