CHICAGO, September 11, 2006 – LAWFUEL – Legal News Network – Loeb & Loeb LLP announced today that Michael L. Molinaro will join the firm’s Chicago office as a partner and will practice with the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Group. Molinaro has a national bankruptcy practice. He represents insurance companies, secured and unsecured lenders, financial institutions, and other clients, on a wide variety of commercial finance transactions, including health care, real estate, credit card, leasing, franchise and derivative transactions.

Since 1983, Molinaro has devoted his practice exclusively to bankruptcy, reorganization and commercial law matters, representing parties in all facets of bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts and restructurings.

A frequent lecturer, Molinaro has spoken on a variety of commercial and bankruptcy law topics, including the treatment of derivative transactions, cramdown, modification of the stay, partnership bankruptcies and lender liability. He has presented before the subcommittees of the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association, as well as Loyola University Law School and IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law. In addition, he has published numerous articles on various aspects of bankruptcy law.

Molinaro served as a law clerk for the Honorable Frederick J. Hertz in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In 1979, Molinaro graduated cum laude from St. Joseph College with a B.S. in Accounting. He earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 1982. While at DePaul University, he served as an Editor of the DePaul Law Review. Molinaro has been selected by his peers to be included in the 2006 edition of the Best Lawyers in America.

Molinaro joins Loeb & Loeb from Neal Gerber Eisenberg where he was a partner and chaired the Bankruptcy, Reorganization & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group.
