New York, NY, February 2, 2011…Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a national law firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Miami, announced the addition of Conrad G. Bahlke as a Partner in the Derivatives and Commodities Group in New York, effective immediately.
Mr. Bahlke comes to Stroock from Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York, where he was a partner in the Structured Finance and Derivatives Group. Specializing in the areas of derivatives transactions and regulation, commodities transactions and regulation and banking regulation, Mr. Bahlke represents a broad range of clients, including banks, corporations, governmental organizations, investment funds, pension plans and individuals.

Prior to joining Weil Gotshal in 2000, Mr. Bahlke was Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel and an associate at White & Case. He was also an attorney at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C. He received his undergraduate degree, Phi Beta Kappa, from Oberlin College, and both J.D. and M.B.A degrees from the University of Chicago.
