Debevoise & Plimpton represented Benfield Group Limited as U.S. counsel on its initial public offering. Benfield’s IPO, raising total proceeds of £157 million, was the largest on the London Stock Exchange this year, and the only offering on its main market.
The shares were distributed in the United States to institutional investors in a Rule 144A offering.
