DLA Piper Appoints Leading Asian Insolvency Lawyer as Restructuring Head in Hong Kong

Hong Kong (LAWFUEL) – DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Graham Ridler will be leading the firm’s insolvency practice in Hong Kong. Graham, a leading insolvency lawyer with significant international and Asia expertise, joins the office as a Consultant and a member of the Asia Debt and Corporate Restructuring team. His practice focuses on international and cross-border corporate debt restructuring, advising institutional creditors, ad hoc creditors’ committees, insolvency practitioners, debtor companies and directors on a range of contentious and consensual restructuring and insolvency matters.

Graham brings extensive knowledge of international and cross-border insolvency matters to DLA Piper, drawing on extensive experience with major law firms in both the UK and Hong Kong. His experience includes leading the bank recoveries unit at a major international law firm, large bankruptcy cases involving public and private examinations, search and seizures and prosecutions for fraud. Graham’s expertise spans Asia, having advised clients with business interests in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan as well as Korea. He has worked extensively with major accounting firms and international banks. Graham joins DLA Piper from BHP LLP, a UK law firm.
