Evosys E-business Suite implementation goes Live successfully at DEPCO, Bahrain.
15th January, 2013: Evosys has yet another attainment adding to its rich and strong experiences. Our E-business Suite project successfully went Live at The Delmon Poultry Company, Bahrain. The project kicked off on 14th June 2012 and went Live on 15th October 2012.
The Delmon Poultry Company (Depco) established in 1981, produces poultry and hatchery products in Bahrain under the world famous brand, Farm Chicken. They own and operate facilities for slaughtering processing, packing, storing and distributing chicken, as well as producing animal feed and day old chicks. The company’s worth is of 1.8 Million USD and has operations in Bahrain.
The main Business need at Depco was to integrate their departments and provide the information online to access at any point of time, Publish the Financial statements on time and to integrate the daily chicken sales data and provide the daily/Weekly/Monthly sales figures.
Evosys proposed and implemented Oracle EBS Financials, Supply Chain and HRMS at its operating unit to help Depco meet business requirements. We implemented Oracle Time and Labor interface and customized accounting using the Subledger Accounting Method for OPM implementation. We re-designed the Chart of Account values and reconciled the value by comparing the old Chart of Account values. Our solution also involved Handheld Devices Plan B integration.
Major Challenges encountered during the project included:
– Chart of Accounts Redesigning
– Master Data Cleanup Activity
– Hand Held Devices Integration
– Enabling the OPM organizations and consider the landed cost for the Raw Materials

– Inclusion of 25% of additional technical objects apart from the agreed scope of work.
We firmly followed the project plan schedule, which resulted in successful Go-Live prior to 3 days of the project timelines. Involvement of the key stakeholders at each and every phase of the Project, Testing by the Key stakeholders, Data Migration, Maintaining Issue Log and GAP analysis, etc were several significant success factors for this project.
