LAWFUEL – UK Legal Announcements – 3 December 2007 – Tim Jones has been appointed chair of the London Management Group (LMG) of international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
The role, an appointment by the chief executive supported by the London department heads, focuses primarily on clients and people in London, and on ensuring the continued alignment of the office’s strategy with that of the global practice and sector groups.

Profile
Tim Jones has been a partner at Freshfields since 1990. He specialises in equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, privatisations, and other corporate work.
Between 1994 and 2000 he was based in the firm’s Madrid office and, while there, advised on a number of public and private cross-border M&A transactions, as well as various IPOs.
