HOUSTON–LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – Hughes Watters Askanase, L.L.P. (HWA) today announced that Rhonda R. Chandler has joined the Houston-based law firm as of counsel in the litigation and bankruptcy practice groups.

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial litigation, Chandler’s practice is focused on bankruptcy-related litigation. She also manages business disputes brought in both state and federal courts and has extensive appellate court experience.

A trained and experienced mediator, Chandler conducts mediations for cases in the Texas state courts and federal courts in the Southern District of Texas. Prior to joining HWA, she worked for more than nine years with the Houston office of Munsch, Hardt, Kopf & Harr.

Chandler was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1986 after receiving her law degree in the same year from the South Texas College of Law. She received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1976.
