INTERPOLITEX 2010: NEW TRENDS, DEVELOPMENTS AND SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES

In the end of October International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “INTERPOLITEX” will once again open its doors for specialists and experts in the field of homeland security and security industry as well as for regular visitors interested in present situation in security industry. Organizers of the exhibition promise informative business program and spectacular live demonstrations.

Interpolitex Exhibition has become traditional trade event – this year it will be held for the 14th time. With every further edition it attracts new interesting participants and high ranking visitors from bodies and agencies working in the field of ensuring personal, public and state safety and security. The exhibition is organized by the Russian Federation Ministry of the Interior, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Border Service of the Russian Federation Federal Security Service and Exhibition Companies Group Bizon.

According to the data presented by Russian information agencies in the next ten years Russia plans to spent around 22 trillion rubles (which is around 719 billion of dollars) for rearmament and re-equipment of law enforcement and security agencies. And significant part of these funds will be invested in R&D projects, which will assist in development and creation of new up-to-date armament for the Interior Ministry troops and Federal Security Service. For example, innovative technologies are widely used in aviation, navigation and in the process of elimination consequences of emergencies.

This year more than 300 domestic and foreign manufacturers of special technical equipment, armament and security products will take part in the Interpolitex exhibition on 19 000 square meters of exhibition space. More than 50 items of large size special technical hardware will be displayed within the framework of the exhibition for the first time. It is expected that the exhibition will be attended by more than 15000 visitors. Among the participants and guests of the exhibition will be present representatives of companies-manufacturers and users of security products from 18 countries of the world.

For the first time in 14 years of the Interpolitex history Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation will organize live demonstration of military and police special technical equipment, which will be open for general public.
