HOUSTON – Jeff Nobles has returned to Haynes and Boone, LLP. Formerly a partner in Haynes and Boone’s Houston office, he rejoins the firm’s Appellate Practice Group.
Mr. Noble has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants, appellants and appellees, in a wide variety of complex civil appeals and trials. As an appellate advocate, he has a solid record of success for defendants facing large but erroneous judgments. As an appellate counselor, he has assisted plaintiffs in reaching favorable settlements that saved them from years of appellate litigation. As a member of trial teams, his expertise in pretrial mandamus practice, discovery and jury charge practice, and post-trial supersedeas and enforcement proceedings have enabled clients in challenging situations to shift the momentum and obtain favorable results. He is also a leading Texas appellate practitioner representing media defendants, helping clients obtain significant appellate victories involving a range of First Amendment issues.
“We are excited to welcome Jeff back to our appellate team at Haynes and Boone,” said Lynne Liberato, head of Haynes and Boone’s Appellate Section in Houston. “He was an integral part of some of our early successes, and his deep experience and talent in civil appeals bring an extra dimension to our diverse and talented team. With more full-time appellate lawyers than any other Texas firm, Haynes and Boone offers clients specialized appellate experience tailored to the specific needs of their case. Jeff is a great asset to the firm, and especially to our clients, as we continue to tackle cutting-edge legal issues and set precedent in all areas of civil litigation.”
Before his return to Haynes and Boone, Mr. Nobles was a partner at Beirne, Maynard & Parsons, L.L.P. He is a graduate of the Baylor School of Law and Princeton University. He has been board certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1991.
Haynes and Boone’s appellate practice is comprised of 19 full-time appellate attorneys and has a long history of handling complex, high-stakes cases in state and federal courts throughout the nation.
