The Legal Services Group is a motivated and highly professional group that provides timely, high quality legal advice and advocacy services to the Ministry. It is one of the largest legal teams in the country.
The primary focus of this position is to provide advice, assistance and training to the Central Region of Child Youth and Family concerning youth justice.
We are looking for a person who is pragmatic and solutions focused and who will show initiative and judgement. An ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships is essential. A practising certificate and driver licence are necessary.
You will have an existing knowledge of the youth justice and care and protection and provisions of the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act and an understanding of the policy and practice issues relevant to the Ministry’s business.
