ATLANTA (June 1) Lawfuel — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today the addition of prominent attorney Charla Hall to the firm’s leading Public Finance Team in the Financial Transactions, Real Estate and Restructuring Department. Ms. Hall joins the firm as an associate in the Atlanta office.
Ms. Hall brings a wealth of experience serving as Bond Counsel and as counsel to underwriters for governmental debt issues, primarily in tax-exempt general obligation bonds and revenue bonds. She has also represented counties, cities, school districts, and authorities in a wide variety of transactions involving intergovernmental contracts, leases, and governmental debt issues.
Ms. Hall currently serves as President-Elect of the Georgia Alliance of African American Attorneys; Secretary of the Port City Bar Association; and as a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. She has been distinguished as a Georgia “Rising Star” for 2005 – 2007 by Georgia Super Lawyers.
Ms. Hall earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University with a B.A. in Psychology and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Hall received the Bryant T. Castellow Memorial Scholarship; was Vice President of the Black Law Student Association; and was a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.
